THE DEPRESSION UK NEWSLETTERWe issue a £1.50 newsletter four or more times a year, at no extra charge to our members. The main reason for producing this is to publish members’ letters, which often offer their views and ideas as to how they cope with their depression and their treatment.A typical newsletter also contains:
A recent issue of the Newsletter ran to twenty-eight A5 sized pages, and was a good read. Unfortunately, we have decided not to include sample pages from a Newsletter on this site in order to maintain the anonymity of our members. However, if you would like to see a back-copy we will gladly forward one to you, if you contact us at our Central Address.
INFORMATION FOR MEMBERSItems for inclusion in the Newsletter, at the Editor’s discretion, are most welcome from any member. These could include your news, views, and anything you feel has helped you — and might therefore, in turn, help someone else. Please don’t be put off writing to us should you feel your grammar might not be quite good enough, because we will edit your contribution for you, should you wish. A member’s comments printed in the Newsletter express the writer’s personal view and may not necessarily be those of the Editor, or of Depression UK. Send or e-mail your contributions, addressed to the ‘Editor’, to our Central Address. Remember to include your ‘Membership Number’ and where you live. Also, indicate any first name, or initials, by which you want your contribution to be identified, for the sake of anyone wishing to write back to you. Please, don’t just call yourself ‘Anon’!
